MPs Attack MoD for £36 Billion Spending Gap

by Campaign ~ December 15th, 2010. Filed under: News.

The Public Accounts Committee recently published a damming report stating that the MoD lacked “the robust financial management necessary to control its resources effectively in the long term.” Money is never well spent if it is used on war or the preparation for war, however for the MD to show a blatant disregard for taxes payers money, which could have been spent on other non-military forms of security or even schools and hospitals is appalling.

What is particularly worrying is that the recent Strategic Defence and Security Review did not pick up on these vast wastes of money.
