CPTI is a non-governmental organization in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. CPTI works through international movements and through international institutions such as the United Nations and the European Union. CPTI is not an umbrella organisation of all War Tax Resistance and Peace Tax Campaigns but complements the work of the many national and regional campaigns.

The website does not address war tax resistance specifically but provides a wide range of background information on related issues.
Peace Direct is an initiative to fund the resolution of conflict and the prevention of war. In any conflict there are people who choose the more difficult route of active, nonviolent peace making. Peace Direct supports them and raises the profile of conflict resolution with governments.

PPU is a secular organisation based on the belief that war and violent conflict are neither necessary nor inevitable. The website is extremely well designed and user-friendly. It provides a broad range of information on peace issues including violence and the media, children and war, and the arms trade to name but a few. There are also teaching and learning resources available, interactive maps and detailed statistics on conflict around the globe. The section on conscription and objection is particularly worth looking at and the website as a whole is highly recommended.
Peaceworkers UK works for the alleviation of human suffering caused by violent conflict through the promotion and encouragement of civilian strategies for the prevention, management and resolution of conflict.
