At Conscience, we’re growing. More people are discovering our message, more supporters are engaging, and we’re finding new energy to expand our work. As we grow, so must our ability to reflect, adapt and act – and that’s where you come in.

We are inviting supporters like you to help guide our next steps by joining our Supporters’ Panel.

What is the Supporters’ Panel?

The Supporters’ Panel is a new initiative that brings together individuals committed to Conscience’s vision of shifting UK taxes away from war and towards peacebuilding.

It’s an informal group – no legal responsibilities, no required donations – just a willingness to contribute time, thought, and feedback. Panel members might:

Provide comments on our plans and campaigns
Offer insight on how we can be more effective
Help shape the future of our Education for Peace work
Disseminate Conscience materials in your networks
Explore what “sustained activism” means beyond donating

Participation is flexible. Some may stay involved as panellists, while others may choose to take on a deeper role in time, such as joining our Executive Committee.

What will it involve?

To start, we’re hosting our first panel meeting via Zoom, where we’ll explore:

How the panel might function
What types of feedback or engagement would feel meaningful to members
Ideas for helping Conscience reach wider audiences

After this, we’ll occasionally send updates, reports, or proposals – inviting panellists to join Zoom discussions or share feedback within a specific timeframe.

Why now?

The work of Conscience is expanding – and so is the need for supporters who can shape it with us. With new resources (including a grant for educational work) and a growing supporter base, we are at a crucial turning point. This panel is an opportunity to help steer our course in ways that stay rooted in community, conscience and peace.
